Robert Half EDI Analyst in Bolingbrook, Illinois
Description We are seeking an EDI Analyst to join our team in the logistics industry, located in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This role is central to our technology operations, where you will ensure seamless data flow between multiple systems and partners using EDIs and APIs. You will play a key role in maintaining our service catalog featuring a large variety of pre-developed integrations into key systems, carriers, and customers.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth data flow
• Utilize various tools to investigate, develop, and troubleshoot integrations in a busy logistics environment
• Maintain the service catalog featuring pre-developed integrations into key systems, carriers, and customers
• Leverage EDIs and APIs to facilitate efficient data exchange
• Explain technical concepts in a comprehensible manner to non-technical users
• Conduct AB Testing to ensure the efficiency of data integration processes
• Perform Configuration Management to ensure system stability and performance
• Use your knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to optimize business processes
• Apply your skills in Microsoft SQL and Database management to handle data efficiently
• Document Business Requirements to guide the development of integrations and systems. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience as an EDI Analyst in the logistics industry
• Proficient in handling EDI transactions
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required
• Proficiency in using Microsoft SQL database
• Experience in AB Testing is desirable
• Understanding of Business Process Functions
• Ability to create Business Requirement Documents
• Skills in Configuration Management
• Design skills and familiarity with 'Fi' are necessary
