Collaborating with all interdisciplinary team members including nurses, nurse practitioners, anesthesiologists and perioperative team.
Assisting in the coordination of patient care services within other disciplines of the healthcare system
Reviewing patients’ medical/surgical history and outside records in the EMR to identify potential perioperative risk factors.
Performing telephone history/assessment to include review of systems, medication list, patient education, and implementing perioperative plan.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing
3 years of Pediatric RN experience in Perioperative or Surgical Inpatient programs
Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills in addition to proficient multi-tasking abilities
Strong technical knowledge of EMR (preferably EPIC).
Ability to work 4 days/week ( Monday through Friday) mostly 7-3:30. Both 32 and 40 hour positions are available.
