Our Health & Life Sciences Solutions organization is an interdisciplinary team of product managers, designers, engineers, and clinicians dedicated to designing, developing, and deploying next-generation healthcare solutions as part of the Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare.
We are looking to hire a Chief Clinical Product Lead to join our team. As Chief Clinical Product Lead, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering the most impactful and differentiated Copilot experience for clinicians, nurses, and other care professionals. You will drive clinical excellence in every aspect of product design and delivery, collaborating with internal teams to take decisive action based on product feedback while ensuring alignment with clinical standards.

Responsibilities
The Chief Clinical Product Lead will be responsible for:
Leading product development efforts to define and deliver an optimized Copilot experience for clinicians, nurses, and other care professionals, collaborating across product management, user experience design, and product engineering.
Developing user feedback and testing processes to support informed decision-making.
Maintaining a standard of clinical excellence in all aspects of our work.
Influencing our sales and marketing narrative by demonstrating how Microsoft positively impacts care professionals.
Evangelizing the product portfolio with strategic customer accounts and at major healthcare conferences.
Facilitating customer advisory boards and other customer councils.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years of clinical experience (current or recently practicing physician) in patient care
OR equivalent experience.
Proficient knowledge of clinical documentation standards, EHR workflows, informatics, and coding.
Proven experience with product management processes, including requirements definition and goal-setting.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently or recently practicing Doctor of Medicine (MD)
CMIO experience is highly desirable.
Broad awareness of emerging technology trends in large language models and agentic AI frameworks.
Demonstrated public speaking and presentation skills for industry audiences.
Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
