Legal Administrative Assistant

Summary of Job

Looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant who is a team player with solid computer skills, a great client service attitude, and self-motivation. This full-time job offers steady weekday hours with the opportunity for bonuses based on the successes of the law firm. The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for customer service and answering phones. Having the ability to multitask and efficiently manage time is crucial as well as being self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls

Schedule appointments and update event calendars

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes

Prepare memos, invoices, or other reports

Type, edit, and write documents and correspondence emails competently

Maintain databases and filing systems, whether electronic or paper

Perform basic bookkeeping

Minimum Requirements:

Promotes a welcoming environment to the office by modeling a positive demeanor to staff, and clients.

Demonstrates superior multi-tasking abilities.

Financial experience - managing accounts, purchase order, etc.

Demonstrates effective communication skills, and a strong knowledge of business office literacy (Internet, E-Mail),

Phone skills, Google Applications, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Software to include Word and Excel).

Quick to learn new software programs.

Self-directed, detail-oriented person with superior organization skills.

Formulates positive relationships with staff and clients.

Demonstrates trustworthiness, honesty, and loyalty.

A strong work ethic with superior work attendance history.
