Oracle Senior Consultant in BRASILIA, Brazil

Job Description

SENIOR CONSULTANT:

Profile Requirements:

  • Graduated in Engineering / Information Technology/ Administration/ Accounting and related fields.

  • Based in São Paulo/SP or Brasília/DF.

  • Experience as a business analyst/requirements analyst in banks.

  • Good exposure to the domain and customer management.

  • English advanced communication skills (to take part in conference calls and preparing documents).

Technical skills / experience required:

Good knowledge of Brazil Central Bank regulations, market practices and banking product and processes in Brazil. Ideally, candidate should have experience with following topics:

  1. Good knowledge of banking products:

  2. Loans and financing.

  3. Trade finance, current accounts and investments.

  4. Good knowledge of the calculation of balances of financial operations relevant for reporting to regulators (Brazilian Central Bank), mainly Credit Information System (SCR) and structure, method of calculation and reconciliation of legal documents related to this (3026, 3040, 3050).

  5. Knowledge of bank accounting (COSIF) and day/month/period closing routines.

  6. Knowledge of the taxation levied on banking products (IOF, IR, etc.), requirements for providing information (Income Report, CET, etc.), common forms of calculation and indexers, different accounting treatments determined by legislation (accrual stop, write-off, renegotiation, etc.) among others.

Nice-to-have:

  • Ability to handle functional aspect of Banking Product Implementation.

Responsibilities

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
