As part of our Engineering team, you'll help develop our best practices for all development functions and work with our Global Product team to deliver applications and services across our business. We are currently recruiting for a Scrum Master to work remotely in Slovakia. As a Scrum Master, you will coach several software squads within a product area, using agile & lean practices, tools and techniques to focus the teams on delivering great value within the product vision. You will help form, grow and develop well-motivated, high-performing and self-organising teams, through an empathetic leadership style. You will also facilitate an increased understanding of agile philosophy and good practice across the organisation.

Here's how:

  • Support with continuous learning and improvement around our agile practices, promoting transparency and communication across the business

  • Work closely with the team to keep backlogs in good shape and ensure a health flow of development work for the teams

  • Work with teams to deliver valuable software on time

  • Coach and support squad members to develop skills, collaborate effectively and share knowledge.

  • Help identify and remove impediments for squads and individuals to enable them to focus on building and delivering software.

  • Identify and use meaningful metrics to report progress to the business and help the team continuously improve

  • Challenge assumptions, identify and escalate issues and concerns as appropriate, ensuring recommendations for resolution are considered and actioned as appropriate.

  • Monitor the number and skillsets of the people within the squads and to highlight the organisation when the existing squad levels may not have the capacity to reach the desired goals.

What you bring to this role

  • A minimum of two years' experience of Scrum Mastery in Agile development.

  • Ability to collaborate successfully with developers, testers, architects and business representatives alike

  • Effective at adapting Agile/Lean methodologies to ensure best fit for delivering the business goals

  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies

  • Experience of working to deadlines within a fast-paced industry

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust

  • Self-motivated with a track record of delivering to meet business objectives

  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload effectively

  • Demonstrable experience of sharing knowledge effectively with others

  • Track record of facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and servant leadership skills

Salary

Base salary starting at 3,000€ gross per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher depending on each individual candidate.
