Summary You will serve as a MACHINE TOOL OPERATOR in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT at PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will perform machining operations or equipment disassembly, repair and assembly. You will disassemble and examines by measurement and visual inspection components such as low, medium and high pressure valves You will repair, assemble, and test components in accordance with specifications. You will perform common machine tool operations on one or more conventional machine tools such as engine lathes, turret lathes, milling machines, drill presses and shapers, machining castings. You will perform common set-ups, selects required tooling and operates machine, establishing and controlling feeds and speeds and brings various tools to bear in successive operations. You will maintain a clean and orderly worksite, for following safety regulations and safe work practices. You will ensure proper and safe operation of machine tools and equipment.
