Mission for the position: Waters Construction Company is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to work on a wide array of heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, rollers, and pavers. This position comes with the opportunity to train and become a Class 1 mechanic

- Experience in repair and maintenance of construction and asphalt equipment (3 years experience preferred)
- Has their own required tools
- Has experience in welding
Competencies for the position: OSHA 10 Hour
- Current CT Drivers License
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Can work OT when needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Trainable/Adaptable
Benefits: Hourly Rate: $38.93 $/hr to 43.33 $/hr DOE Insurance: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (100% paid for the individual, 50% for family members). Annuity: $2.90/hr Life Insurance PTO
NOTE: Overall benefit package for Medical Insurance, Pension, and Annuity is equal to $ 26.10/hr
