Liberty Latin America Coordinator, Compliance in Bridgetown, Barbados

Whats the role

The Compliance Coordinator will be crucial in ensuring that the B2C team's internal controls and processes are in strict compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). This role demands a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can work collaboratively across departments to develop, implement, and enhance compliance measures. The Coordinator will be involved in a variety of tasks including assisting with process development, conducting compliance analysis, SOX testing and audits, and recommending training initiatives. The position will be further called on to review and provide general guidance on the B2C compliance controls.

What You'll do

· Work with internal teams (Finance, Customer Experience, etc.) to develop process flows, policies and controls.

· Perform process reviews to evaluate current business practices, internal control structure, and existing SOX documentation, and make recommendations for any necessary changes.

· Prepares analysis on various controls to ensure that B2C OMNI Channel is compliant with SOX standards.

· Review evidence of SOX controls to ensure completeness and accuracy metrics are completed.

· Collaborate with control owners to ensure proper documentation of all evidence.

· Play a critical role in the continued enhancement of the SOX program in response to a changing control environment and changing processes and technology within the Company.

· Complete SOX testing for key controls identified in the walkthrough process.

· Conducts audits of the OMNI Channels to identify and document inconsistencies of processes.

· Ensures timely implementation of audit recommendations and works with the Manager, LD&C and key business stakeholders to effect change.

· Recommend training initiatives to the Manager, LD&C to close the loop on compliance gaps.

· Any other duties ancillary to the foregoing.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Comfortable operating in ambiguity

· Strong analytical skills

· At least 4 years working in the telecoms industry or related field preferred

· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation

· Understanding of compliance and audit frameworks and processes

· Ability to deliver training and make recommendations for future learning in support of compliance mandates

· Bachelor's degree in management , business or related discipline

· Indept Knowledge of Microsoft tools

· Experience with dealing with Sox compliance matters desired
