Your day to day
Your positive attitude, and genuine desire to connect with people will ensure every guest feels truly valued. An organised and systematic approach to work, coupled with a meticulous eye for detail will see you easily succeed in this role. We're a dynamic team that effortlessly juggles multiple tasks and are quick to respond to guest needs, whether it's valet parking, room service, or concierge requests. YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensuring our guests always get a warm welcome and a sincere farewell
Supporting any guest needs on arrival and valet parking cars
Providing hotel guest services, room service delivery and any concierge requests
Ensuring the lobby, port cochure/driveway and guest areas look their best and are kept clean and tidy
Resolving guest issues and using their feedback to improve guest satisfaction
Supporting Housekeeping operations by completing tasks in room to help prepare for the next day’s operations
Assisting the Night Manager to maintain the safety and security of guests and the Hotel at night.
What we need from you
We're seeking individuals who have a passion for the hotel industry and / or experience in luxury service or similar high-level customer focused industries. Demonstrated capability of forging strong relationships, a service-oriented mindset, resilience and flexibility are key. Familiarity with Opera or other Hotel PMS is a bonus. Knowledge of the local area to provide guest recommendations is highly valued. If you hold an open or manual driver's license and an RSA, you're jumping straight to the top of the list!
This role is Full Time and will require flexibility to work a rotating roster across 7 days based on business requirements. Shift times are 10:45pm to 6:50am. As part of your initial onboarding you will work daytime shifts for approximately 2 - 3 weeks before transitioning across to Nights.
