Description

The Regional Director is a licensed clinical professional that is a clinical expert in the assessment and treatment of pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and dually diagnosed patients/families in a variety of out-patient settings. Provides oversight to assigned region in all programs and services.

  • Provides direct social work services, which include crisis intervention, individual, family and group counseling, in collaboration with other members of an interdisciplinary team and completion of relevant documents, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment/shared care plans.

  • Assumes primary responsibility for the development and maintenance of resources and record keeping in the assigned practices.

  • Participates in departmental quality assurance efforts under the supervision of the Vice President for Behavioral Health, distributes relevant information to staff, patients and students.

  • Provides and/or ensures clinical and on- site supervision for Behavioral Health staff and students.

  • Analyzes and evaluates the quantitative and qualitative performance of supervisees, and completes probationary and annual performance evaluations for staff within expected time frames.

  • Oversees orientation and training of new staff.

    Reconciles and approves staff time cards via the PayCom online time card system

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • NYS licensure as LCSW, LCSW-R, PhD or PsyD

  • Supervisory experience in health care setting, preferably in multi-site ambulatory care setting

  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrates organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments at any time

  • Ability to generate, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources.

  • Ability to provide advanced clinical supervision to interns and staff.

  • Supervisory experience in health care setting, preferably in multi-site ambulatory care setting

  • Excellent knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence based treatments for medical and mental health conditions. Ability to assist less senior staff with treatments

  • Bilingual, Fluent Spanish preferred
