Job Description

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The Technology Controls and Reporting Analyst is primarily responsible for monitoring/resolving data anomalies, identifying and advising on control/process improvements, and leading a variety of risk initiatives. The Analyst collaborates with various Technology Risk and Compliance Management (RCM) stakeholders to support adherence to control design/development standards and expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor weekly process/risk/control data quality reporting for anomalies. Depending on the type of anomaly, the Technology Controls and Data Quality Analyst will either resolve or facilitate resolution and track to completion.

  • Perform in-depth quality reviews on control changes and Process, Risk and Control Attestations.

  • Provide expertise on control design/development standards and expectations, to include suggesting improvement opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality reporting and routines.

  • Execute process/risk/control documentation changes as needed.

  • Primary Point of Contact for stakeholder questions, concerns, and requests.

  • Lead various risk initiatives as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically, more than six years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Strong data analysis, facilitation and project management skills.

  • At least one relevant certification, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, etc.

  • Experience with relevant laws, regulations, standards, and frameworks.

  • Experience designing, auditing, and/or implementing controls.

  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel.

  • Proficient knowledge of risk management and reporting tools (e.g. Archer, Tableau, etc.).

  • Ability to anticipate issues and remove obstacles through proactive engagement and follow up.

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships across diverse teams and levels of the organization.

  • Ability to communicate in an effective and concise manner (written and verbal).

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little to no oversight.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
