Solventum is seeking Automated Controls Technician candidates to join our team in Brookings SD!

The Impact You'll Make in this Role As an Automated Controls Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: * Performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to: AC/DC drives and motors, programmable logic controllers, process controllers, stepper and servo motors and controllers, fire protection equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, and plant support equipment * Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, sketches, vendor drawings and manuals in the performance of this job * Working with engineering and production personnel during the troubleshooting, modification, fabrication and repair of plant equipment, utilities, and processes * Providing technical recommendations regarding improvement and optimization of plant equipment, utilities, and processes.
