Provide U.S. immigration-related legal services to clients, including advising on legal requirements for various types of U.S. visas and green cards as well as on legal compliance with U.S. immigration laws. Daily job duties include:Advise clients on a wide range of visa options and legal compliance with various visa types;Oversee preparation of complex visa filings including various immigrant (IV) and nonimmigrant (NIV) applications and petitions, responses to Requests for Evidence, motions to reopen/reconsider, appeal briefs, and waivers of inadmissibility;Conduct legal research on complex immigration issues and advise clients on the same;Remain up-to-date on regulatory, statutory, and policy changes applicable to U.S. immigration laws in order to provide clients accurate and timely guidance;Assist Partner with the management of several corporate accounts, including providing legal advice and guidance to clients, preparing foreign national employees for visa interviews, and providing ongoing legal support to these accounts; andOversee visa processing for corporate accounts, including supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members.The position will supervise the work of approximately (1) Junior Associate and (2) Paralegals, roles that fall under the SOC codes/titles of 23-1011, Lawyer and 23-2011, Paralegal, respectively. No hire/fire authority.Requires a Juris Doctor Degree or foreign equivalent and U.S. bar admission, plus 4 years of experience as an associate attorney at a business immigration law firm. Experience must include:4 years of experience handling nonimmigrant visa filings for large and small companies, including H-1B, TN, O-1, L-1, Blanket Ls, and responding to RFEs, and MTRs;3 years of experience handling multiple concurrent PERM filings, including experience utilizing batch recruitment and responding to PERM audits;3 years of experience handling immigrant visa petitions, including EB-1, EB-2 (including NIW), and EB-3 filings; andMust have experience managing a high volume of cases, including a mix of small and mid-sized accounts as well as large corporate accounts (with at least 100 foreign nationals). Minimum Salary: 160,000 Maximum Salary: 167,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
