Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Direct Hire Full Time Onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician I in our Brown Deer, WI Facility.

$2/hr additional for 3rd shift

You Are:

A Self-motivated Contributor who enjoys learning in a hands-on environment. You are a Performance-driven individual who is mechanically inclined and eager to develop a career as an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a career company.

You will:

• Perform basic mechanical and electronic repairs

• Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks

• Respond to equipment break down quickly

• Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems to effectively address maintenance needs

• Complete repairs in a timely manner

• Perform all additional duties as required

As an Onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician I , you have:

• Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures

• Background in electro-mechanics troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment

• Experience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipment

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagram preferred

Preferred:

• Mailroom, warehouse or equivalent experience

• Experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment with at least one year of break/fix mechanical experience

• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment

Physical demands and abilities:

• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations

• The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
