In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, acting as a business partner to the business units’ management and the commercial organization. You will interface with regional stakeholders on all financial matters, directly impacting our local commercial activities. By leading efforts in planning, reporting, and continuous improvement projects, you will play a key role in maximizing our return on investment and enhancing customer engagement!

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partnering

• Planning:

  • Align Planning Cornerstones with OPU Management (targets across Therapeutic Areas / Sr. Business Unit, market access, field resources, promotions etc).

  • Lead local functional Planning process and challenge local management (cost/sales).

Management reporting:

• Monitor, track and challenge local Functional KPI as well as general financial situation. Gross to net challenge/decision assumptions + accrual/provision at local level.

• Identify and analyse trends / deviations for defined KPI & measures.

Business Analytics:

• Gathering of assumptions, qualitative description and presentation of the Business Case.

Audit / Compliance:

• Support Business Unit / OPU Central Controlling in Internal & External audits.

Financial due diligence:

• Evaluate market effectiveness of programs, pricing structure, salesforce structure.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business administration, Economics or related.

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Finance and Business Partnering within a regulated industry.

• Leadership experience in projects as well as international experience (international exposure in daily business or extended business trips (EBT) in related areas or worked abroad) strongly preferred.

• Excellent command of the English language.

• Experience with SAP is preferred.

• Mindset: analytical, strategic and tactical thinking, long term focus and inquiring mind

• Knowledge: Understanding Accounting, German and local GAAP, cash flow.

• Understanding the market of the organization, regulations around market access, tendering and parallel trade mechanisms.

• Good communication, moderation and presentation skills.

• Good team player and networker, able to manage stakeholders.

• Technical skills: Able to work on a high level with excel and ppt and knowledge of the financial systems BI works with.
