About the Function

FP&A Experience is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The department is responsible for the interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting, the management of the P&L delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency, steering towards the defined strategy of the markets as well as driving automatization and innovation in the decision support infrastructure.

The role

  • Ensure the management and execution of the performance management agenda through the development of a robust annual plan, reinforced by a monthly rhythm of processes and analysis to provide timely information and insight, forecast and enable the organisation to make high quality decisions that drive peer leading performance.

  • Drive the monthly BPM cycle and Landing and O&R reviews.Responsible for the management of cash flow and extended working capital requirements, processes

  • Develop an efficient and effective planning process for the organisation, ensuring that all internal and external factors are considered to develop a robust plan in the service of our strategic ambitions that optimally allocates our global resources. Work with business partners and employees to deliver the planning process to standards and timelines.

  • Focus the business unit leadership team on the actions required to keep performance on track and ensure that the process supporting the BPM cycle is robust and delivers the right information each month in a timely and fit-for-purpose manner.

  • Continually strive for standard process and develop a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Build and maintain value-driving relationships across the organisation that support business performance and integrate reporting across all business functions. Hold business partners accountable for the delivery of their financial and non-financial commitments.

  • Work with Global Brand teams on brand objectives - within market objectives for countries, channels, brands.

  • Have a detailed understanding of the business strategy to support business decisions.

The role also includes full responsibility to account for, track and manage the region’s Market’s Advertisement & Promotions budget, through close interaction with the marketing and commercial teams. Regular functional & operational engagement with the Regional Finance Director and other cross-functional departments & Leaders of the organization will be an integral part of this role.

The FP&A Manager is a member of the senior LT with dedicated responsibilities around organizational efficiency and transformation agenda, capability building and people development. Regardless of role location the FP&A Manager is required to lead, coordinate, mentor people both in an immediate team, as well as across the related teams in FP&A tower and in-market when it comes to all aspect of financial performance matters.

About you

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting/ Business

  • 7-8 years’ experience is management or financial accounting, Financial Performance & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling

  • Experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment

  • Proficient English knowledge

  • Commercial Acumen: Understand the whole business operation in detail and can see connections across departments to see the big picture. Aware of competitors for existing core business. Recognizes key trends and industry characteristics

  • Influencing skills: Establish relationships with teams across business units and markets. Proven track record to impact and influence, at a senior partner level, virtually across markets with solid networking, influencing & interpersonal skills

  • Effective communication skills: Construct short story lines, adapt documents and presentations for the intended audience (complexity, detail, altitude). Presents material in a clear confident manner & leads non-verbal communication, in service to message
