The main objective of the Cloud Compliance Engineer is to accompany the security compliance lifecycle of cloud infrastructure, services and products within the scope of our SAP Global Cloud Infrastructure and Delivery having a holistic approach end-to-end. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, and Finance, to address technology and security compliance needs.

What youll do:

Taking over responsibilities in prioritizing security compliance issues together with the respective operations or development teams will be part of your main activities. As in cloud computing technical security, security controls, and technical and organizational measures are converging, a broad and holistic view on all aspects of compliance and governance is necessary.

Your role will contribute to manage compliance initiatives, including gap assessments and implementation of controls to address regulatory requirements You will consult and coordinate cross-functional especially in legal and regulatory compliance and translate these into controls. Leading internal and external audits related to information security and compliance while providing guidance to the business units will be your day-to-day responsibility.

What you bring:

  • Masters / Bachelors degree in computer, economics, engineering or related proficiency in business economics and process analytics.

  • Deep knowledge of compliance related certifications (ISO/SOC/PCI DSS) or regional regulatory requirements and audits

  • Background in IT Architecture design/cloud computing/information security/software development.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English - verbal and written.

  • Agility, openness, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

  • Passion for compliance/quality assurance

  • Strong project management skills and record.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and IT systems.

  • 5 years project/program management.

  • 5 years in compliance/security/business continuity.
