Location/Division Specific Information
Discover Impactful Work: The Identity Security Engineer - Zero Trust - PAM has global responsibility for supporting solutions crafted to protect, detect, and alert security threats in our global network environment.
A Day in the Life:
Implement and maintain Zero Trust principles and strategies for identity and access management
Manage and optimize Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
Continuously provide insight on ways to apply the technology present more efficiently
Ensure identity and access management solutions operate according to governance and compliance policies
Monitor and analyze security events related to identity and access using SIEM solutions
Keys to Success:
Use influence skills to acquire agreement and participation from various groups and partners without direct control
Ensure documentation and processes are well defined so that the engineered solutions are understood and repeatable
Ensure solutions are well built, backed up & restore tested, and consistently maintained for health
Proactively communicate and collaborate with the business on maintaining our security posture
Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures related to identity and access management
Education
Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted
Certifications not required, but encouraged: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or other identity and access management-related certifications
Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Experience
5+ years of systems administration experience
3 - 5 years of identity and access management experience for a large-scale company
3 - 5 years of proven experience in implementing Zero Trust principles and PAM solutions
In-depth knowledge of identity and access management best practices and tools
Experience with implementing and managing security controls in cloud environments
Strong organization skills, leading sophisticated projects
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent understanding of Zero Trust principles and their application to identity and access management
Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and tools, such as multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and role-based access control
Strong problem-solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for action
Validated flexibility and ability to perform in a multidimensional environment
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in identity and access management
Hands-on experience using and/or configuration of one or more of the following, are a plus:
CyberArk PAM
BeyondTrust PAM
Delinea PAM
KeeperSecurity PAM
