Senior Finance Business Analyst

What is the job about?

The Senior Finance Business Analyst supports the assigned Regions with information, analysis, financial forecasting, revenue and expense budgeting. The position coordinates workflow among the entities relating to the segment or region. Duties include researching trends in financial performance of the division, cluster, region or other defined business dimensions. This position directly contributes to strategic decisions, providing a forward-looking and commercial view.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Providing analysis of business drivers, financial performance improvement action recommendations, sales analytics, and other performance-based analytics.

  • Supporting the Finance Business Partner in preparing Budgets, Forecast and Strategic planning and helps securing that planning is supported by initiatives and corrective actions.

  • Assisting in developing business cases to support strategic initiatives, integrating business plans into planning and following up on Business Cases.

  • Overseeing full cost allocation and optimizes contribution to Group Profitability on relevant dimensions (segments, customers, products, projects etc.)

  • Preparing material for Business review meetings

  • Analysing reports, deviations between budgets, forecasts and actuals.

  • Supporting and collaborate with price management and discount structures.

  • Overseeing full cost allocation and optimizes contribution to Group profitability on relevant dimensions (segments, customers, products) for the assigned Region.

  • Being a super user in dashboard designs, deployment including periodic data sourcing.

  • Supporting in other financial metrics such as overdue, cash flow, WOC Debtors, etc.

  • Supporting in ad-hoc analysis requested from the Finance Business Partner.

  • Participating in global business analysis projects.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Min. Bachelor degree in accounting, Masters as a plus

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance, Planning and Analysis

  • Good knowledge of SAP R3 FI, SD modules and BW

  • Strong analytical mindset

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI plus

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English

  • Ability to work closely with Management

  • Curious, openminded attitude and willingness to learn
