About the role

This role supports the group tax external and internal reporting requirements including our obligation sunder SOX. Key deliverable for the role is the completion of OTP tax evaluation and reporting obligations for the Dutch Consolidated report. The role sits in the Group Tax Team. There is scope for exposure to key stakeholders in the Finance function.

The role will be responsible for completion of the consolidated Dutch reporting requirements as well as supporting tax reporting to internal and external stakeholders in the above-described global situation.

  • Driving delivery of internal and external reporting requirements for the Group including but not limited to Dutch consolidated reporting, while supporting actual cash tax paid and forecast reporting, CBCR, group Red Book and public reports of the Press Release and the Annual Report.

  • Identify, propose, and lead change efforts required for global tax to align with reporting requirements.

  • Proactively liaise with global stakeholders while maintaining and improving working relationships. Support local decision making, identify and resolve open issues for Group reporting.

What you'll bring

  • Strong technical accountant with a good understanding of deferred tax under IFRS.

  • Some technical knowledge of corporate tax is preferred, but knowledge of deferred tax is essential.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills that facilitate effective networking and relationship building at all levels within the organisation.

  • Self-motivated and well organised approach to work.

  • Evidence of proactive thinking, solution driven mindset for improved performance.
