Chevron Corporation Total Rewards Specialist in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Develops, maintains, and ensures competitiveness of Chevron's Total Rewards packages and programs (excluding Executive Compensation and the programs managed by TR - Benefits). Designs, maintains, and executes the job evaluation system. Stewards and provides guidance on all compensation surveys.

Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron's practices.

The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Total Rewards Specialist. Successful candidates will join the BASSC Total Rewards & Leaves team. In addition to providing Total Rewards support, the more than 1000 professionals that work at BASSC, provide expert solutions to Chevron partners around the globe.

Key Job Responsibilities :

  • Serves as SME for compensation related activities and processes: market data analysis, salary planning, job analysis, position evaluations, etc.

  • Supports TR Center of Expertise in the analytics behind the creation of new programs.

  • Serves as the next point of escalation for Shared Services employees with complex employee queries regarding compensation where the issue is resolved or forwarded to the TR CoE.

  • Responsible for compensation knowledge transfer within the Service Center with existing programs and when new initiatives are introduced.

  • Liaises and networks with HR practitioners/counterparts across industries for benchmarking purposes. 

  • Proactively seeks for improvement opportunities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related careers.

    • +5 years of experience in HR, specializing in Total Rewards.

    • Expertise in compensation with in depth understanding of market data analysis, salary planning, job analysis and evaluations, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Experience working with HR Information Systems (preferably Workday and ServiceNow).

  • Highly proficient in English.

    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Teamwork and customer service skills.
