Manager, Application Development
Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Manager, Application Development to Design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; determine feasibility of solutions\ design and prepare technical design documentation; plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support\ applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Multiple positions.
Requirements: Master\'s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology,\ Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Working as a Integration Architect & Middleware Solutions Specialist to innovate the technical integration strategies and solutions; Designing and modifying different Integration solution on App Connect Enterprise/IBM\ API Connect/Azure API/Kong API/Spring Boot Microservices; Deploying Integration solution to OnPrem and Cloud Platform like Amazon AWS, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure; Analyzing current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities, issues, and recommend solutions; Developing frameworks, standards and reference material for architecture\ and associated products; Collaborating with Project Managers and technical directors, vendors to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve as a lead as required; and Integration Tools: Azure API, Kong API, WebSphere DataPower, WebSphere Message Broker, IBM Integration Bus, and IBM API Connect.
