Job Description:

Promotes patient flow in both the clinical and clerical areas to provide care appropriate to the patient’s age. Perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of medical information gathering, health teaching, health counseling and provision of supportive care under the direction of a registered professional nurse or licensed physician, dentist or other licensed health care provider legally authorized under this title and in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations. Adheres to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required. Applied associate degree in medical office Assisting preferred. One year experience in a medical environment preferred. Successful completion of the basic PC Skills assessment required.

Salary Range:

$21.09-$26.68 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
