Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81900 - $110600 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategies based on operational needs, market conditions, business insights, and industry knowledge, engaging internal and external stakeholders to align and leverage key program and product requirements
Conduct spend analysis to create detailed category plans aimed at delivering savings and increasing value, leveraging supplier resources effectively
Track and report preferred contracted supplier program KPIs, identify performance or compliance gaps, and initiate corrective action plans when necessary
Negotiate and maximize program cost metrics, including cost of goods, allowances, and other program incentives
Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic supplier partners, supporting the implementation of business strategies and procurement initiatives to achieve business and financial performance goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, supply chain, or related field required
Proven ability to facilitate strategic supplier relationships and work with senior business executives
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement role with increasing levels of responsibility, along with food industry experience
Solid negotiation skills with experience negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements
Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications with ability to work with, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of data and build reports
