Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
In search of an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various systems found on heavy equipment such as mechanical and computer electronic controls, transmissions, and pneumatic systems. You'll troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs. Your tasks will also include overhauling engines, replacing engines, rebuilding components, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. You may also assist in training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques.
Hard Skills
Experience working on Heavy Machinery such as Excavators, Loaders, Paving Machines, Backhoes, Bulldozers, Dump Trucks, Trenchers, Compactors, Graders, Telehandlers, Backhoe Loaders, Tower Cranes, Feller Bunchers, Dragline Excavator, Wheel Tractor Scraper, Pile Driving Machines, Concrete Pumps
Mechanical, Diesel, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience
Soft Skills
Ability to troubleshoot and repair independently
Willingness to train others
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Buffalo, Texas.
Work Environment
This role may require training in a shop for a few weeks before proceeding to field work. Please note, our work environment is non-temperature controlled.
