Position Summary:Under direct supervision, responsible for developing demand forecasts, driving continuous improvement of forecasts, and facilitating inventory consensus across sales and procurement for a particular Sales Program as well as at the commodity level.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:(This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company)
Creates and develops 24 month rolling forecast using historical sales, market trends, and judgmental input for the assigned program.
Performs data analysis to identify parts where forecast adjustments need to be applied
Prepare data and material for monthly SlOP demand review meetings with the assigned programs as well as facilitate monthly meetings.
Modify and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for planning processes and systems
Evaluate improvements in forecasting techniques, method and approach in order to increase the overall health of the program while balancing cash flow.
Accountable for the following metrics for the assigned program and commodity: inventory health, on time delivery, purchasing past due, and forecast accuracy.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or Related field of study or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
0-2 years of related work experience
Experience in Forecasting, supply planning, production planning, or similar Supply Chain role
Experience in basic ERP system functionality
Experience in aggregating and summarizing large amounts of historical data and identifying trends or problems
Experience in packaged supply chain planning software
Knowledge of key demand planning and inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.
General understanding of the elements of the supply chain process, and understands the information flow throughout demand and supply planning process
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or Related field of study
2-4 years of related work experience
Certifications: APICS, CPIM
SQL skills
Significant relevant knowledge of service parts uniqueness; aerospace hardware
Ability to adapt changing business needs and priorities
Ability to multi-task
Ability to travel (domestic and international) approximately 10%
