Evertz Microsystems Limited Intermediate/Senior Front - End Engineer in Burlington, Ontario
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate/Senior Front-End Engineer specializing in Angular to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative, high-quality web applications for customer-facing products. This role demands a deep understanding of front-end technologies and best practices, along with a strong ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Design and develop robust front-end applications using Angular for customer-facing devices.
Deliver high quality of UI/UX designs, and focusing on creating intuitive and user-centered interfaces.
Collaborate with product teams and other software teams to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements.
Proactively maintain and enhance the application interface to ensure an optimal user experience, regularly updating and refining features.
Independently manage project priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in front-end development and implement them when appropriate to enhance application efficiency and usability.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong expertise in Angular (13 and above) and tools, such as npm.
Strong expertise in design, implement, and test of Angular modules and components.
Strong expertise with TypeScript, AJAX, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3.
Strong expertise in diagnosing web service issues.
Knowledge of RESTful API and WebSocket.
Knowledge and experience with responsive and adaptive design, object-oriented design.
Knowledge and experience with PHP, Rust, SQL is an asset.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2-5 years of professional experience in front-end development with a focus on Angular.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, driven by results, and capable of handling time constraints.
A team player who is collaborative, adaptable, and capable of working independently when necessary.
