Posting Summary

Support the Emergency Department through the coordination of human resources processes; including but not limited to: faculty recruitment, faculty and staff onboarding, coordinate and manage faculty reappointments and promotions, and temporary and student staff recruitments. Process actions and pull reports in PeopleSoft HR and Finance. Support departmental initiatives and projects.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one to three years’ related experience required. Proficiency with word processing, excel, email, and database management required. Effective communication skills required. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and workload within tight deadlines required. Ability to work independently required. Effective customer service and interpersonal skills required.

Desirable Qualifications

Previous experience in higher education and/or a health care setting as well as knowledge of process improvement skills are highly desirable.

Anticipated Pay Range 24.00-26.50

Other Information

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
