BankFinancial Credit Analyst Intern | Temporary - Full Time in Burr Ridge, Illinois
Job Descriptions:
Summary: The Credit Analyst Intern is responsible for various duties in the department including analysis of financial information for annual term loan reviews. Analyst will also be responsible for the preparation of various reports produced by the department.
This internship is located at the Bank’s Burr Ridge, Illinois location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collects information to prepare the annual loan review
Processes information for reporting.
Spreads financial information to obtain operating information.
Prepares reports for annual loan review.
Ensures consistent underwriting philosophy among product lines.
Manages input and aids in updating of items to tickler system.
Contacts the customer or customer’s representative to obtain additional information or explanation detail throughout the underwriting process while coordinating with the Commercial Banker.
Makes calls to names on a list and confirms information such as phone numbers and other contact information, key information about multi-family property ownership and interest in discussing loan information. Schedules appointments between property owners and Commercial Bankers
ROLE IS TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME - however, part-time scheduling may be available during spring and fall to accommodate class schedules

Required Experience:
Education/Experience
At least two years’ progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent to include accounting course work.
Self-starter with involvement in extra-curricular, community or university sponsored organizations
Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly and handle unexpected challenges with maturity and professionalism
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organization skills, with acute attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable to complete tasks on time with minimum guidance
Value in data privacy and integrity
Ability to make outbound calls in order to validate data and initiate prospects
Computer Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Other database experience is helpful.
