POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined individual to repair surgical instrumentation on one of our mobile machine shops. New hires will be trained in our extensive apprenticeship program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Identifies surgical instruments by type, use and functionality. Inspects instruments to determine type of repair and/or adjustment required.

· Repair services consisting of, but not limited to, sharpening, alignment, replacing parts, refinishing and refurbishing of all surgical instruments.

· Inspect instruments, adjusts and ensures functionality within specific standards.

· Completes all necessary paperwork (i.e., repair work order forms, driver logs, receipts) in a timely manner.

· Driving company vehicle in a safe manner and maintain assigned service truck in good working order.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· We welcome candidates from backgrounds such as electronics repair, metal/jewelry repair, appliance repair, welding repair, surgical techs, and machinists.

· Daily travel with occasional overnights

· Mechanically inclined

· Attention to detail required

· Dependable, hard-working and willing to learn our business

· Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

· Ability to work independently.

· Basic PC skills required

· Excellent customer service skills

· Basic organizational skills

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers, associates and management.

· Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam.

· Must have valid PA driver's license and clean driving record

· You may be required to obtain certain vaccinations, or provide proof of current vaccination status, based on customer and/or company requirements.  Please note, this includes the COVID-19 vaccination.

· High school diploma or GED required
