Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and diligent Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will execute work planning and scheduling functions for a self-directed work team, providing logistical coordination with all stakeholders. Regularly visiting job sites for work order clarification and planning is a key responsibility. Additionally, the Planner will be expected to maintain intermediate to high computer skills necessary to access the CMMS work order system, and provide input to the department for ad-hoc reporting as needed. The role also involves coordinating and conducting scheduling meetings with maintenance teams, and presenting performance data as needed. The Planner will contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance program by collecting technician feedback and sharing with the CMMS Specialist. Other job-related duties and special projects may be assigned as required.
Hard Skills
Associate’s or technical school/training
5-10 years’ experience in the maintenance industry
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, ordering parts
Microsoft excel (pivot tables, v-lookups), Microsoft access
5-10 years’ experience working as a maintenance planner/scheduler in a multi-trade environment
Detailed understanding of effective scheduling, estimating, and workflow processes in a maintenance environment
Trade knowledge preferred (i.e. steam, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
Prior CMMS experience
Pharmaceutical/BioTech research facilities experience
Soft Skills

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s) then conversion directly afterwards pending performance.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Work Environment
The selected candidate will be part of a team tasked with getting a contract signed for the Cambridge crossing site which will be opening in mid-April.
