SAOTA Marketing Admin Assistant (Special Projects) 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract in Cape Town, South Africa

The primary function of the Marketing Admin Assistant is to provide project management and administrative support to a Principal for Special Projects within the Marketing space.

The successful candidate must have strong administrative skills and excellent knowledge and experience in all Microsoft Office products.

THIS POSITION IS FOR A 6-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT.

A KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management

  • Coordinate and manage special marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

  • Manage communication with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.

  • Administration

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Principal for Special Projects, ensuring efficient schedules, correspondence, and project documentation management.

  • Maintain and update project databases, records, and marketing materials required for Special Projects.

  • Prepare and organize presentations and reports

B KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Administrative Assistant or similar administrative role within a marketing department.

  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in all Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Excellent project management and coordination abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach.
