Position Summary: MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Network Administrator (SECRET CLEARANCE). The Network Administrator will be supporting the government at Carlisle Barracks, PA.
Responsibilities:
The candidate is responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance, and usage of the NEC Carlisle installation's local area network.
Employ Net Ops capabilities to execute Network Administration responsibilities and functions.
Responsibilities include managing network performance and maintaining network security.
The candidate will ensure security procedures are implemented and enforced.
Install network hardware and software; troubleshoot network problems; implement network policies, procedures, and standards; and ensures systems are in conformance with organizational objectives.
Other responsibilities may include training local users on network operations.
100% on site position.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience
Qualifications: Bachelor or Associate degree in Information Technology or related program. 4 years of experience may substitute in lieu of a degree.
Certifications: Must maintain IAT Level II certification (Like CompTIA Security+) and Cisco CCNA or CCENT certification
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
