Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Leader with a proven track record in leading lean transformations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing lean methodologies, and driving sustainable change to enhance operational effectiveness and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead Lean Transformation Initiatives:

  • Drive end-to-end lean transformation projects, including planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop comprehensive lean strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement lean methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

  • Utilize tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and 5S to drive process improvements.

Change Management:

  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of lean initiatives.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs on lean principles, tools, and techniques to build capability and empower employees to drive improvement at all levels of the organization.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives. Monitor progress and track performance metrics.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to lean methodologies and continuous improvement.

  • Apply insights to refine existing processes and drive innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (5 plus years) leading lean transformations in a manufacturing, supply chain, or service industry environment.

  • Strong understanding of lean principles, including value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, and waste reduction techniques.

  • Demonstrated expertise in change management, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Abilities:

  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

  • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

  • Identify and understand the speech of another person.
