Bank of Greene County Assistant Manager, Information Systems in Catskill, New York

POSITION SUMMARY:The Assistant Manager of Information Systems manages the information systems and network, as well as the Bank’s cybersecurity systems and their respective vendors. This includes managing, the telecommunications, Wide Area and SDWAN Networks, Azure Active Directory systems and users, virtual machines environment, security tools, and data backup processes. This position also manages the IT Help Desk for Bank employees and our Microsoft 365 environment. This position will also assist the IT department with network management and administration, and other technology related tasks as necessary.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field * CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications * A minimum of four years’ experience with data center management and SDWAN technologies, based on Cisco, VMWare and Storage Area Networking. Manufacturer certifications are preferred.* Intermediate skills with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery as well as remote Data Center management.* Intermediate skills with all Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environment, including automated deployment of Windows Operating Systems.* Professional communication skills with computer users on the telephone and in person MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees security technology deployment, maintenance, and monitoringParticipates in security reviews with third party security providersAssist the Systems Engineer and/or the Chief Information Officer in acquiring the necessary network statistics required for metrics analysis and reportingProvides the Chief Information officer with relevant security reports and analysis Assist the Systems Engineer with the management of all virtual machine assets, including routine maintenance and hardening of all servers and monitoring of critical functionsDeploy and maintain the technologies associated with the Bank’s data centers including Storage Area Networks, networking, telecommunications, and virtualization technologies.Maintain health and security of all servers and networking components of the Bank’s virtual infrastructureAssists management with audits and regulatory exams by managing request lists and tracking findings and remediationAssists management with the IT help desk resources and provides documentation of requests for assistance through the Bank’s help desk ticketing systemInterviews users to collect information about problems and leads users through diagnostic procedures to determine source of problemParticipate in continuing education as required by managementAny other projects and tasks as assigned by managementAbility to travel within the Capital District and Hudson Valley market is required. Failure to meet these compliance standards may adversely affect performance appraisals and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. Employee’s compliance violations may result in termination, individual fines, and possible imprisonment.

Minimum Salary: 80,000 Maximum Salary: 90000 Salary Unit: Yearly
