About the Role & Team
The Global HR Operations team is responsible for the strategic development and execution of HR services and information to employees, managers, and HR partners throughout the Walt Disney Company.
This role will be responsible to provide Global HR Operations Leadership and The Walt Disney Company Customers with accurate data and analysis to identify compliance risk, improvement opportunities, defect elimination, and service opportunities. The individual should thrive in a data rich environment where they will be responsible for extracting data from our systems and transform it into actionable analysis/reporting, dashboards, and forecasts that support the business needs. This senior analyst will have a natural curiosity to identify and analyze trends to facilitate short and long term business decisions and improve performance results. To help achieve this, this individual will need to create and maintain consultative relationships throughout all client organizations and key partner groups.
What You Will Do
Provide consultative support and ensure consistent reporting, forecasting, and diagnostic analysis of business issues for diverse clients across the Organization
Develop relationships with Global HR Operations leaders and business partners across the globe to ensure integration and connection of information
Define and track day-to-day measures, including ad hoc analysis, in support of Global HR Operations
Measure the effectiveness of HR efforts by using comprehensive set of statistical techniques to conduct complex business analysis
Connect and transform data from multiple HR systems into actionable analysis driving process improvement initiatives to optimize HR processes; succinctly package the results (tell the story) in a way that is easily understood by all levels of leadership
Leverage data visualization skills and tools such as Tableau to translate multifaceted HR analytics data into dynamic actionable reporting
Work collaboratively across boundaries to build and drive both internal and external partnership to support collaborative opportunities, achievement of shared objectives and connectivity of information
Required Qualifications & Skills
4+ Years analytical experience including reporting and project management
Demonstrated proficiency with computing and programming using SAS, R, Java, Python, Spark, or similar data science language
Knowledge and experience in conducting complex analysis using multiple data sources and a passion for attention to detail
Strong data visualization skills including the ability to translate multi-dimensional data into clear and concise storytelling that provides actionable insights
Possess talent for strong influencing and networking skills to help build and foster existing consultative relationships that drive alignment and partnership opportunities
Focus on the here and now while keeping a keen eye to the future and the organizational capability to prioritize work
Exceptional ability to make timely and effective decisions to meet fluid deadlines
Capacity to work autonomously and make independent decisions to meet deliverables with minimal oversight
Passionate about continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue leaning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trends
Advanced SQL skills used in conjunction with large relational databases
Exhibit necessary technical understanding and capabilities in HR systems and Microsoft software tools to efficiently extract, analyze, and present data Experience in an Analytical, Research, or Human Resources related field
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn various software systems
Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees including presenting data to executives in a clear and concise way
Prioritization of multiple, interdependent projects while tracking and communicating progress
Maintain client relationships via strong inter-personal and communication skills
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
SAP and/or Workday experience
2 Years HR functional experience indirect Leadership experience
Knowledge of Tableau and/or web design
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
