We are currently seeking skilled and experienced welders in the area for a local manufacturing facility in Chambersburg, PA. This position Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm with a starting pay of $17.75 an hour. If interested, you must meet the following requirements to be eligible: Applicants must be able to pass on-site welders test, read blueprints, pay close attention to detail, stand for long periods of time and work 40 hours weekly. Responsibilities
Reading Blueprints: Understanding blueprints and specifications.
Material Preparation: Cleaning and arranging metal pieces.
Equipment Setup: Setting up welding machines and tools.
Welding: Performing various welding tasks (MIG, TIG, arc, etc.).
Quality Inspection: Inspecting welds for precision and accuracy.
Maintenance: Maintaining welding equipment.
Safety: Following safety protocols and wearing protective gear.
Documentation: Recording completed work and reporting issues.
Team Collaboration: Working with team members and communicating with supervisors.
