Description We are offering an opportunity in the transport industry, based in Chandler, Arizona, for an Application Support Engineer. The successful candidate will provide direct customer application support while working closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment. This role involves managing software development projects, understanding and implementing change management processes, and ensuring project goals are achieved within specific timelines.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct customer application support, resolving technical issues efficiently.
• Manage software development projects, ensuring all objectives are met within specified timelines.
• Implement and manage change control processes to ensure effective handling of application modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality customer service.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in standard office software applications to fulfill responsibilities effectively.
• Review and diagnose issues in Visual Basic and C# Code to ensure the smooth functioning of applications.
• Build and manage reports within SQL Server and/or SAP Business Objects, contributing to data-driven decision making.
• Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, AB Testing, Active Directory, Application Support, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management to perform tasks and solve problems effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with various Database systems
• Experience with Dell Technologies
• Understanding and practical experience with EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft software and applications
• Experience in AB Testing
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Prior experience in Application Support
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
