Director of Sales, Campus Electronic Access Control (EAC)

This is a home based position and can be based anywhere in the continental US. (Must be living within a commutable distance from a major city/airport).

The Director of Sales, Campus EAC will be responsible for all sales aspects of aggressive, profitable and sustainable growth with specific focus on ASSA ABLOY Electronic Access Control (EAC) hardware sales driven through channel partners.

Key areas you will contribute in this role:

The Director of Sales, Campus EAC is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships and developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and achieve or exceed sales targets for ASSA ABLOY in the EAC industry. The role will directly manage a vertical sales team specific to Higher Ed and align the sales team with go-to market strategies for sales and service channels, selling tools and implement business systems and processes critical to the success of the team.

What you will be doing:

The Director of Sales, Campus Electronic Access Control (EAC) role will be responsible for managing relations with current partnerships along with the generating new leads by developing future individual and organizational partnerships critical for the company’s revenue growth. This leadership position will also be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create customized EAC solutions

  • Monitoring industry trends, competition and overall market conditions

  • Attending industry events and trade shows, representing ASSA ABLOY’s EAC business

  • Maintaining accurate reporting of budgets, partnerships, sales programs and key sales team metrics

  • Ensuring compliance related to company policies, procedures and maintaining highest ethical standards

  • Continuously seeking approaches to improve sales processes and techniques to increase efficiency and effectiveness of sales

  • Project management and reporting of new products and programs through ASSA ABLOY to the Higher-Ed vertical.

  • Implementing Salesforce into the daily process of the sales team.

    What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree preferred

  • At least five (5) years of technical sales experience in a related field and at least two (2) years of people management experience.

  • Proven leadership in the Higher Ed sales space

  • Demonstrated experience in strong networking

  • Experienced in overseeing key sales activities and strategic selling techniques

  • Industry subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of organizational business practices and challenges

  • Collaborative leadership with team management problem-solving ability

  • Implementing and managing sales teams and product reporting

  • Knowledge of financial reporting

  • Project management and documentation of products and services

  • Proficient in using Salesforce for metrics-driven reporting or Knowledge of Salesforce and MS reporting tools.

  • Dedicated to high-quality customer service and integrity

  • Proficient in web-based applications and Microsoft programs

  • Ability and willingness to travel at least 60%

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sales presentations.

    The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
