CACI Premier Technology, Inc., is seeking a full-time Administrative Specialist. The Administrative Specialist is primarily responsible to perform a combination of clerical tasks to support office, business, or administrative operations of the Workforce Operations and Training departments. This full-time position is located at CACI, Inc., 14370 Newbrook Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151

Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordinating for Others

Will maintain calendar(s), schedule meetings and training courses, make and cancel appointments, and set up schedules for internal administrative staff to ensure that they are available to meet changing work needs. Coordinates with various internal departments to organize training programs.

Communication

Composes routine correspondence. Drafts reports on implemented procedures.

Communicates effectively with training participants to provide clear instructions, schedules, and access to training materials or platforms.

Office Management

Provide administrative support and implement procedures. Respond to inquiries that require referencing a variety of sources and utilizing knowledge of the department/program. Drafts reports on implemented procedures. Responds to inquiries regarding employees’ progress in various training courses that require referencing various learning management systems and databases.

Maintain accurate records of training activities, to include attendance and feedback.

Word Processing/Typing

Key/type complex documents (e.g., technical), proof spelling and grammar, use multiple software packages to prepare equations, statistics, tables and/or presentations, and compile reports from edited drafts.

Information Systems/Software

Perform data entry with some knowledge of department/work unit/program, manipulate screens for additional entries, generate routine reports, create simple spreadsheets, and maintain databases. Entry-level knowledge of formulas to efficiently extract and present data. Utilize online record depository system to certify users’ training certificates are compliant with internal and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship (a requirement for a federal security clearance)

  • Typically has a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable U.S. Government security clearance.

  • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • 1-3+ years of experience in Administrative Support.

  • Understand and follow standard operating procedures, to perform duties in a professional manner.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.

  • Working knowledge of fax machines, photocopying equipment, voicemail systems, scanners, and computers.

  • Experience and aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite Software with an emphasis on Word and Excel.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face. Ability to write simple documents.

  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both external and internal contacts.

  • Motivated self-starter that works well independently.

Physical Demands:

  • Normal demands associated with an office environment.

  • Must sit or stand to work at a computer, reading and typing, for long periods of time.

  • Maintain visual ability including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and to adjust focus while reading words and numbers.

  • Speak and hear sufficiently to communicate in person and over the telephone.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$45,400 - $90,900
