Title:

Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance

KBR National Security Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance. This position can be done remotely.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Establish and follow best practices in quality assurance while managing their department's day-to-day operations and budget

  • Manage and direct assigned and matrixed staff

  • Create and implement quality standards; develop, coordinate, staff, and implement all aspects of Internal Audit Plans, Reports, customer satisfaction surveys, and other efforts to provide business unit leaders quality indicators and ensure compliance with ISO, CMMI, AS9100 and other quality standards

  • Work collaboratively to support external audits

  • Follow business practices to identify and acquire resources, and coordinate and collaborate with operations and functional partners to identify and manage changes needed to implement effective quality practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area such as science, engineering, management, business administration, or in lieu of degree 4 years of experience managing quality programs and supporting quality audits

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills include the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts and build teams

  • Demonstrated creativity and flexibility and analytical ability to develop and assess options and recommend solutions to complex problems and issues.

  • Ability to operate in high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across entities and disciplines with the ability to create win/win solutions and relationships.

  • Broad knowledge of national security enterprise including the department of defense, intelligence community, and other government agencies.

  • Effective organizational, planning and project management abilities.

  • Ability to function independently and deal with multiple, simultaneous projects.

  • Ability to recognize personal strengths and weaknesses and develop goals for professional growth and achievement.

  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant subject area such as science, engineering, management, business administration, or

  • 4 years of professional experience managing quality programs and supporting quality audits
