The ideal candidate for this role will have proven project management skills and knowledge of Oracle’s internal policies, processes and business practices. This position will be part of the Oracle Health Deal Management Team and be responsible for developing standardization, simplification, and automation of Oracle Health (OH) quoting and contracting to help modernize the process and mitigate risk to Oracle. The primary areas of focus and responsibility will include:

  1. Develop standard OH quoting and contracting processes.

  2. Communicate of processes related to quoting and contracting OH transactions.

  3. Support of OH Deal Management teams on operational issues.

  4. Drive accountability across standard processes.

In support of these areas, the Oracle Health Global Process Owner will use data to identify areas for improvement and priority. The individual will also own communication and change management for Oracle Health Deal Management processes related to quoting and contracting.

The ideal candidate has experience in quoting or contracting at Oracle or Oracle Health, should be able to distill complex ideas into straight forward, concise process documentation or business requirements. They will interact and lead stakeholder engagements, maintain a growth mindset, and excel in a multifaceted environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Validate, understand, and/or develop Oracle Health quoting and contracting processes.

  • Own communication and change management for Oracle Health Deal Management quoting and contracting processes.

  • Mitigate risk to Oracle in the transaction process through sound implementations.

  • Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions.

  • Document, submit and support system enhancement requests to improve quoting and contracting experience for Oracle Health Deal Management.

  • Lead tracking and accountability of process compliance.

  • Partner with stakeholders across Oracle to solve complex, non-standard problems in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing such as Sales Operations, Global Business Practices, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Legal and Risk Management.

Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking, self-motivated individual who acknowledges change as vital.

  • Demonstrated leadership of projects/initiatives.

  • Be a self-starter who is able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating across various teams, time zones and management levels.

  • Understanding of Revenue Recognition and finance controls and potential risk if not addressed.

  • Demonstrates high learning agility, attention to detail, and is well organized.

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Capacity to assess situations objectively and take strong positions when vital.

  • Ability to manage difficult discussions with multiple parties with conflicting priorities or ideas.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • College/University degree.

  • 3+ years' experience working in a quoting, contracting, or operational role.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $73,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
