Wells Fargo Business Execution Director - Change Enablement Leader in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

This position will be to lead the Change Adoption function within the Employee Experience team. The Employee Experience team is part of the Technology organization and is focused on making it easier to perform daily work as an employee. Specifically, our mission is to partner with product owners to improve end to end processes that are challenging for our employees to navigate (e.g., onboarding a new employee) and support effective adoption of technology driven changes that impact the enterprise (e.g., impacting large groups of employees across the bank). This role will primarily focus on enabling effective adoption of technology driven changes.

This is a new and growing organization, and this leader will be responsible to establishing standards, frameworks, and delivering effective stakeholder management, communications, learning (training), and end-user feedback routines to build a repeatable framework that can be used across multiple bodies of work. In this role, the leader will then partner with large program / product teams to support effective rollout of change to our employees using this framework.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes

  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency

  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities

  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in change management, preferably in a technology-driven environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and inspire others through change

  • Identify potential risks and resistance related to technology changes and develop mitigation strategies

  • Establish metrics to measure the success of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, innovative and forward-thinking, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs

  • Drive business value and customer satisfaction by delivering on key business initiatives
