Deloitte Cybersecurity Engineer (with Active Secret Clearance - Charleston, SC) in Charlotte, North Carolina

Work you'll do

  • Develop and maintain system RMF artifacts, including: Security Categorization; Security Assessment Plan (SAP); Risk Assessment Report; Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M); and other RMF artifacts.

  • Assess security controls, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans.

  • Create and maintain system authorization boundary diagrams, incorporating system software, applications, hardware, firmware, and Ports, Protocols and Services (PPS) lists.

  • Implement core and cloud infrastructure security to manage risks and exposure.

  • Perform cyber reconnaissance to illuminate a potential attack surface area.

  • Provide threat and vulnerability management to federal clients and teams.

  • Analyze tactical network architectures and topologies to assess security risks.

  • Support clients with data protection, IoT, and overarching cloud capabilities.

Required:

  • Must have An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this role.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • At least two (2) or more years of IA/cybersecurity experience.

  • Demonstrated experience performing vulnerability scans on various operating systems using approved DISA tools.

  • Experience working within various operating system, database, and network environments.

  • Familiarity with EMASS and A&A package entry.

  • Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53

  • IAT Level II (or higher) certification required: CompTIA Security +

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Must be local to Charleston, SC.

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Certifications (e.g., CAP, CASP, CEH, CISSP)
