Personal Lending - Wells Fargo's Personal Lending organization is comprised of the company's new Flex Loan product, its unsecured personal loan product as well as the Wells Fargo Retail Services business. Personal Lending is transforming the way we engage with our customers through innovative digital solutions that enhance our customer experience.
In this role, you will:
Support product management in the development of new products and features, drive select components within a product or feature
Review and analyze strategy, customer experience, analytics/research in support of product development efforts
Present recommendations for resolving product development blockers
Develop expertise on digital initiatives, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
Develop expertise on the tech architecture for unsecured lending products
Ascertain product features adhere to compliance, privacy regulations, and policies
Escalate impediments and/or defects to Product Management for assistance and decisioning
Decompose features into user stories for Scrum Team delivery
Prioritize & refine Scrum Team backlog per Sprint; influenced by Product Managers
Enforce User Story acceptance criteria within the Scrum Team
Participate & contribute to Quarterly Big Room Planning iterations
Manage Team demo at conclusion of Sprint, facilitate Sprint retrospective
Participate in defining test requirements, test data required, coordination of testing across both internal and external systems
Participate in a variety of functions within the digital environment
Identify opportunity for digital business plans, programs and initiatives within scope of responsibilities
Review and analyze basic content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research or product management
Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations
Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the on digital initiatives, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with digital consultants and managers on more complex digital initiatives, including internal/external customers if applicable
Required Qualifications, US:
- 2+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
A passion for detail and innovation, highly analytical
2 + years of experience delivering user stories within a scrum team
2 + years of experience with microservices or APIs
2 + years of experience launching and scaling new products or product enhancements preferably within an Agile framework
Consumer Lending Product Management experience
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Resilient individual that perseveres to achieve successful outcomes.
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills, experience with Jira and data reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau or Amplitude.
