Wells Fargo Leadership Development Director in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo Advisors is seeking a Leadership Development Director. We are looking for a Leadership Development Director to lead the growth and success of our Client Relationship Group of Wealth & Investment Management. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives to align our field leadership development programs with our business objectives, fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning. Your contributions will be key in shaping our leadership approach in ensuring our organization's future success join us and help build a strong foundation for the next generation of leaders.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the work in developing a comprehensive and programmatic approach to support the growth and professional development of our field leaders. Your focus will be on creating impactful learning experiences that empower our field leaders

  • Collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to design and implement enterprise-wide talent development solutions. Your insights will drive our organization's growth and performance through differentiated development and learning initiatives that elevate our Client Relationship Group of Wealth & Investment Management

  • Regularly assess and update field leader learning strategies. Your goal is to ensure that our programs align with Wells Fargo objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement

  • Host manager workshops supporting development and business growth on critical initiatives

  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes

  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency

  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities

  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of management experience

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills

  • Intermediate or advanced experience using Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies tied to a common vision, which maximizes revenue and profitability

  • Superior conflict resolution skills

  • Demonstrated ability to understand clients, define client needs, build trust, set and manage expectations

  • Experience in managing relationships at an executive level, preferably in a financial service-based business environment

Job Expectations:

  • This role will require a travel schedule of 20 -30%

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Pay Range

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
