Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a full-time process operator for one of our very large manufacturing clients in Charlotte, NC. This candidate would be responsible for setting-up and operating a variety of manufacturing facilities using CNC controls for multiple operations on transitions. This would include but not be limited to machining, bonding, welding, operating manual machines and hand tools, etc. This position allows for further career opportunities within the organization and would allow an employee to gain exposure to Gas Turbine Combustion Components and experience in working on the latest machinery & innovative technology.

Skills and Requirements
3 years of CNC experience (ability to read and understand program) in machining, welding, laser or other applications.
Fork truck/crane license or ability to obtain Fork truck/crane license
Ability to use shop math, follow complex drawings, and perform complex metrology.
Must be capable of wearing a respirator, and must pass a Process Operator Competency Test.
Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing facilities using CNC controls for multiple operations on transitions, to include but not limited to machining, bonding, welding, operate manual machines and hand tools, etc..
Adopt Safety & Quality Culture.
Required to lift /move 50lbs of materials.
Interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc., and determines necessary tools to perform required machining operations.
Using material handling devices (Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts), loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.
General mental and visual attention is necessary when performing complex process operations to hold the close tolerances per drawing specifications. * Any experience or knowledge with Gas Turbine components.
