Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28273, United States. This role will involve coordinating procurement activities and managing materials for various projects. The successful candidate will work closely with different teams to support projects efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage requisitions for a diverse range of materials and services across distinct categories.
• Supervise the receipt, storage, and tracking of materials and equipment, ensuring safe storage practices.
• Maintain precise data entries in relevant systems like SAP or similar platforms.
• Ensure that materials meet the specified quality standards and identification requirements.
• Review and organize purchase requisitions and related documentation, checking for completeness and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to monitor material deliveries, providing updates on scheduling and costs regularly.
• Undertake expediting efforts when necessary to meet project timelines.
• Handle additional tasks as required within the procurement function. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M
• Experience with Coupa
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to work with ERP Solutions
• Proficiency in using About Time software
• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Experience with Buying Processes
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Ability to manage Invoices
• Proficiency in SAP
• Experience in Corporate Procurement
• Familiarity with Government Procurement practices
• Proven experience in Procurement
• Knowledge of Procurement Actions
• Experience in managing Procurement Activities
