Honeywell Project Manager - Building Automation Systems in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Project Manager - Building Automation here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and delivering building automation projects to ensure the successful implementation of our products and solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements. Your expertise in project management and building automation will be crucial in driving the success of our projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Project Management Lead and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of buildings by overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge building automation solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and customers to ensure seamless project execution and deliver exceptional results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee building automation projects from initiation to completion

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets

• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; sales, estimating, engineering, subcontractors, operational leadership and working capital teams

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements

• Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks

• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team

• Forecasting revenue, gross margin and estimate at complete for portfolio of projects

• Maintaining favorable working capital

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the building automation industry

• Strong knowledge of building automation systems and technologies

• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and matrixed organization

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Experience with building automation software and tools

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to building automation

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
